Courtenay Nixon :: Women’s Ministry Leader
I was born and raised right here in the Huntersville area, which is a rarity these days. I went to Appalachian State University and am now a full time graduate student a Gardner-Webb Divinity School. I’m an aspiring artist of many things especially words. I’m 5 foot tall (yes thats all) and yes, my hair is indeed naturally curly.
Reading, spending time on my front porch, having quality time with good company, putting my artistic skills to use by painting/sewing/jewelry-making, hanging out at coffee shops, Having a great cup of coffee at the exact moment of need, dogs of all kinds, fountain diet cokes, a weekend trip to the mountains, wearing pajamas after a long day, when the shuffle on my ipod is in sync with my mood, the smells of laundry and soap.
If my ipod were getting picked for a kick-ball team, it would probably get picked last. I’m working on my library, but as of now I have a vast array of worship music, Latin dance music, gospel (the good stuff not southern style), soul, Francis Chan sermons, and tetris
What I typically do around Radiant Life:
I am the Life Group and Women’s Ministry Coordinator. It is not only my job but, my utmost desire to see people get connected, experience community and grow in their faith.

Most People Would Be Surprised That I…
I love old TV/movies, I really love doing laundry and ironing, and I could probably eat Asian food every day and not get tired of it!!
Everywhere!! I have a desire to travel to all places!! I want to see and touch as much of creation as I can and hang out with all these beautiful unique people God created!!! I’d like to visit as many places all over 6 continents (I’ll pass on Antarctica).
