Help Haiti
As news reports pour in regarding the tragedy in Haiti, our hearts are stirred to pray and move to help those in dire need of our attention. Right now, the most urgent need is for monetary donations to support the relief efforts of those already on the ground and working in Haiti.
Radiant Life Fellowship has a partnership with OFCB and a pastor (Actionnel) in the Bayonnais community, 90 miles south west of Port a Prince. In fact, several of us were heading to Haiti on February 4th until the earthquake hit. All commercial and delivery airlines have suspended their flights to Haiti indefinitely.
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED NOW
Below, we’ve linked to 9 excellent organizations that are currently equipped and on the ground helping the relief efforts now.
We trust these organizations and our hope is that you will help with your financial gifts.
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released,
that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free,
19 and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come. (Luke 4:18)
Currently, those on the ground have indicated that food and water are not available for purchase within Port-au-Prince, and that looting is already beginning as desperate people try to obtain what they can. Major medical facilities have collapsed, hindering first aid help for those injured in the quake.
Communications are almost impossible, and a fuel shortage is cutting off transportation. Survivors and rescue workers are digging through rubble to reach people trapped in collapsed buildings.
If you’re looking for an organization to channel your money through for Haiti—and you probably should be—here are some options.
All money collected will go directly to the growing needs in Haiti.
Whether you can give $1 or $1,000,000 -the collective efforts of Radiant Lifers can and will make a difference for the people of Haiti.

A Poem About Jesus in Haiti
(Author: John Piper)
Jesus in Haiti
After the Earthquake
Do you consider safety, or your health,
A sign from me?
I am not awed by might, nor struck by wealth,
Or poverty.
O, I am struck! And crushed. Buried, I wince,
And dying, pray,
A sympathetic Priest in Port-au-Prince,
Even today.
But there, in those United States the boot
Is on my face.
“Saul, Saul,” I ask, “Why do you persecute
And not embrace?”
Your King, I lift my arms to you in peace
And patient grief;
And summon now to Haiti enemies
For my relief.
A Response to Pat Robertson’s Comment About Haiti
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in..” Matthew 25
