What “Parents” can expect
Parents will check their babies, preschoolers, and grade schoolers into “The Grove” as they enter the building. Your child’s safety and security are of upmost importance to us while they are in “The Grove.” We ask parents to complete a form that allows them to make us aware of any allergies or health issues “The Grove” leaders need to be aware of. Families are given a key tag with a specific number on it (only for that particular family) that they show to leaders in order to pick up their children. We ask parents to attach this key tag to their keychain so they always have it in case of an emergency at church.
For the first portion of the service, the grade schoolers will join parents in the auditorium for worship with the entire church. Following a few songs or communion, an announcement will be made, directing the grade schoolers to exit the auditorium, and make their way to “The Grove” area. Your grade schoolers will be led back into the auditorium by “The Grove” leaders to re-join you for the end of the service .

For baby – Preschool parents, we ask that they quickly pick up their children in order to give our leaders a chance to also pick up their children in a timely manner.
All parents are asked to look over any handouts or notes that their child may have with them following their time in “The Grove.” These handouts or notes are helpful resources, tools, or information that you can use to help further the conversation at home of “what they learned at church” this week.
We also ask parents to regularly check email because “The Grove” leaders use email as a way of communicating upcoming events, activities, and passing along more tools / resources your children/family will want to know about.
